There is nothing like absolute silence, anywhere, anytime. The world is daily, hourly filled with new sounds and music. Every situation produces its own sound and music, unique to that purpose and time. Just listen at night when there is “absolute silence”. What do you hear in the “absolute stillness”? Snoring or coughing by your side or neighbor? A child crying out? Screech of Tyre on the tarmac? Or the sound of a driver leisurely cruising away? Something must be heard, if only your own breath, that makes the music and sound of that particular occasion.
It is another story in the morning as the world wakes up. It is different sound and music. People´s voices as they prepare for work. Cars warming up or starting off. You can feel the renewed energies of people getting ready for their daily activities with excitement or sluggishness, depending on which day of the week.
Getting into public transportation brings up new music and sound: Cell phones ringing with assorted ring tones. The voices of people in hush, the bus engine produces its own music, distinct and different from that of Trolley, or train, or tram. Even on the road in your own car, just roll down the door, each brand of car produces its own unique sound. Who does not know that the sound of a Honda is different from that of Mercedes Benz? The different speed of each car alone has its own unique sound and music, mixed to form jazz of the highway.
At the office, it is another story. The ringing phones followed by the voices answering. the hands on keyboards typing, photocopying machines and printers producing their own sounds. This is of course different from the sounds in the market place or shopping malls, restaurants or hotels.
Every occasion, event, has its own unique sound and music, changed every second; never to be repeated again.
Have you ever been in a forest or jungle at night? Even if it is man-made one. The owls and bats make their music, while the twilight´glowing wings have their discreet chirping sounds. In the morning, the music and sound change as other birds and animals join in the communal composition of jungle orchestra.
In life, there is never absolute silence. Is there silence at the sea, even if you are alone there? If all the marine animals refuse to make sounds, the wave and lapping of the sea will never seize. Yet those sounds are different from the ones coming from the rivers or lakes or ocean.
All these make one to wonder. Could it be possible that music and sounds are the mechanics, the propellers of creation? Could it be that they are deliberately set up by Master Creator- Jehovah, or whatever you call him for continuation of life? Could it be that sound and music are the fuels of life? The mechanics of our existence?
Yet it is wonderful to know that even each human being has unique music or song in him untapped and dormant. Check my resource box to see easy way of releasing the music in you.

It is a normal practice to pause an online phone for a while to transfer or to find a person for whom the phone has come or trying to find something while receiving the phone or there could be many reasons to put the online phone on hold and during that vacant time, the inbuilt phone system plays different types of music to amuse the one who is at the other end and waiting to convers with you. The music played used to be a various types, sweet and ear pleasing, a song or instrumental music and some of them are really ear bursting and mood spoiling too. It largely depends on the phone owners what to select, a good choice would always be appreciated by and large. In the modern business world, people have became very careful about everything, though this used to be a small issue but they sought an importance out of it and designed a better use of that vacant silent time gape or pause. The telephone manufacturers have taken great care and provided multiple options to provide music to please different communities and types of people knowing different languages in the world. All what you have to do is to select your language and your phone would start playing music popular to that region. That’s ear pleasing sometimes. They offer you’re the choice of the hit and hot songs and you have to decide what you wanted to make listen at the other end. There are phones available with the reloadable or downloadable facilities so that you can plant the exact music of your choice or the choice of the contemporary period. The phone messagesphone messages should not be funny, loud and boring using abusive language while the phone is on hold.
Day by day, various scientific and electronic inventions take place in the world and the better alternatives are sought to make the better use of the available opportunities. Hold music should be proved entertaining and educative for the listeners. You can put little information about your company that helps to educate the listeners at the other end, in a better and pleasing manner. Nobody would like to hear boring verbal conversations or ear bursting music during the hold session, instead find the service providers and ask them to load some better music. The hold should be of few seconds, being on for the long hold creates irritation among the people. Allow easy options to the listeners to contact another person if the desired person is not available at the time of calling and till the caller finds someone to talk to or pass the information, provide him with some pleasing music or better information about your business or brand or product. This free advertising is very useful for the prospective clients of the business. A short informative speech is highly appreciated and that would generate more awareness into the people about your organization. Provide information that the caller would actually appreciate that how beneficial and interesting it would be to make a business deal with your company or inform the callers the fascinating news about your business especially about promotions and special offers, new products and services.

Get the Hits That Really Count!
Here’s something to remember: if you receive 1,000 hits a day on your web page, it won’t mean a thing if only one of those visitors is interested in your product. Use your time and energy to generate publicity that brings you a meaningful, targeted audience! Don’t worry about getting thousands of random hits on your site. It’s the targeted visitors who will buy your product that you really want!
Internet Press Release
Why and where?
If you’re doing anything worthwhile at your web site, you ought to be sending out press releases on a periodic basis. These press or news releases can be sent to your music fans, subscribers to your e-mail list (covered in detail later), or the music industry at large. However, be careful who you target your press release to. The last thing you want to do is start sending your press releases to people who don’t want them. The line between an appropriate press release and spam can be a very thin one.
For example, the press release for your band’s new CD would not likely be considered real news to the music industry at large (sorry, but unless you’re a mega-star, it wouldn’t), so you should avoid sending e-mails to announce your new CD to the major record labels and A&R people. That would likely irritate the very A&R people you wish to attract! I myself receive unsolicited press releases from artists that, after the umpteenth time, I really don’t want. Their e-mail address has permanently been placed in my ‘nuisance’ spam filter. That’s exactly the kind of thing you don’t want to do!
If you want to send out a press release about your brand new just-released CD, ask yourself the question, “Who cares about my new CD?” Your fans do, so a news release sent to them would be appropriate. Any time you prepare a press release or news announcement, ask yourself “Who cares?” The answer to that question is a good test to determine whether your news item is worthy of widespread distribution.
When I release my brand new CD, who cares? My fans do, so the news release would be sent to them, as well as those who have subscribed to my personal e-mail list.
So, are you working on a project worthy of widespread recognition? Do you have an event or news you want to get the word out about? Here are a few places online to consider sending your press release:
Mi2N: The Music Industry News Network (http://www.mi2n.com/input.php3) is the first place to go
to find out what’s going on right now in the music industry. Every day, you’ll find dozens of new stories,
and you can submit yours. Some items also get published in MusicDish (http://www.musicdish.com), which is owned by the same people. Don’t miss this one.
Mi2N: Express Release News Service (http://www.mi2n.com/expressr.php3) is the same company as above, but this service is for those who want more widespread coverage and are willing to pay a bit
more for it. For just $55, you can have your release sent out to over 20 music sites on the MusicDish Network.
Beat Wire (http://www.beatwire.com/submit) is a press release service designed specifically for musicians that I’ve consistently heard good things about. Your news is delivered directly to the desktops of over 10 000 music editors at daily newspapers, magazines, news agencies,
top Web sites, radio stations, and other outlets. You can submit your press release to music critics, journalists, editors, and radio programmers. The cost is $99.95.
Finally, EWorldWire.com (http://www.eworldwire.com/) is interesting as you can target very specific groups, which includes major newswires, trade/industry specific, local distribution, top 100 newspapers, European markets, college & university press, and pretty much any ethnic group. Their fees start at only $99.
There are many other press release distribution services out there, many of which overlap in terms of who actually sees your release. Check out the above services and if you want to compare these with others, simply search Google.com for ‘press release distribution.’

In recent years, podcasting has become quite a phenomenon. Who hasn’t heard of iPods or Apple iPods - small portable and trendy media players? Originally intended for users to listen to music even while on the go, podcasting is now used by companies as a marketing tool to communicate with their target audience and grow their businesses. Media, fashion, technology and the consumer markets have especially benefited from podcasting as present day consumers become more tech-savvy.
Podcasting Defined
Podcasting is shortened for iPod and broadcasting. Tech experts refer to it as personal on demand casting. In plain language, podcasting is simply a method of making radio-quality audio files from the Internet available for download through an RSS feed to a computer, iPod, MP3 player or other portable audio devices. An RSS feed is an XML file format that provides web content or summaries of web content together with links to the full versions of the content and other metadata. Listeners need to subscribe to a podcast only once. They can subscribe to podcast feeds with Yahoo, iTunes or any desktop podcast RSS feed reader software application. Fresh content is then delivered automatically to them as it becomes available without them having to do anything. Listeners can also download and listen to any programming of their choice whenever and wherever they want. With podcasting, listeners have full discretion over what they listen to and when they want to.
Podcasting is just like radio broadcasting with a difference. Broadcasting happens at a set time and place. If a listener wants to avail of the broadcast, he has to be in front of the computer at the exact time. Even if a radio broadcast can be recorded for listening later, it still requires manual work. On the other hand, it is possible to listen to podcasts from diverse sources at a listener’s convenience. Podcasts are available online or from any mobile audio device. Podcasts eliminate time and content constraints. Listeners also have access to the audio archives of the programs they like.
Podcasting’s popularity is simple enough to understand. At length, it is an inexpensive way to receive and discover information and communicate with others. It is, therefore, no surprise that podcasting is becoming a mainstream communication medium for businesses wanting to touch base with potential customers globally.
Business Benefits Gained
Business blogging is an effective marketing tool in creating online visibility, extending brand awareness and reaching out to a larger targeted audience. Adding podcasting to blogging and other marketing channels can bring beneficial impact on any business.
Podcasting is an innovative way to promote business. It is not just text or images on a blog page but listening to someone talking. It is a human voice speaking to listeners. This is definitely a more effective way to gain customers and potential clients’ loyalty.
There are various ways to put podcasts to good use. For one, you can offer your listeners short audio messages just like an e-mail course. It has a much better effect than e-mail messages or newsletters in the box. If you have a podcast, listeners can stream the audio and let it play while doing other tasks. You can also record seminars live or interesting excerpts as sound files and upload to a blog where listeners who have subscription can listen to the podcast. You can also provide company news and updates thru podcast. You simply create an audio message and post it in your podcast. There are other different ways
Having a properly executed podcast that delivers honest, timely and relevant content can increase visibility. The whole concept behind blogs and podcasting is to give users information that is difficult to find. Podcast is about credible content that people will want to listen to. Delivering significant content to targeted audience yields high return on investment as compared to any direct marketing campaign. Coupled with this, search engines will index these podcast feeds. Blog and podcast directories will list them too and targeted audience will subscribe to the podcast feeds. A quality podcast can also be listed in the iTunes podcast directory which boasts of over 40 million listeners.
Businesses are also using podcast to promote their products and services. They publish podcast shows regularly to allow prospective customers to be exposed to their products. This, in turn, will create interest in their product or service and subsequently drive sales and increase brand perception.
Another benefit of podcasting is interviews with guests in your particular niche who the audience can learn from will establish your business as a leader or expert in your industry. Internal communication is another area where podcasting can be of good use. Instead of sending out periodic newsletters, conducting training, business podcasting is a cost-effective method of distributing and sharing information. Company staff can simply download updates to catch up on corporate developments and listen whenever and wherever they want to.
The possibilities for businesses to use podcasting for its benefits are immense. Businesses that create podcasts can have direct communication with a focused audience. Podcasting adds a human voice and a distinct personality that builds listener loyalty.
Podcasting Process Summarized
Realizing the limitless benefits of podcasting, the logical question that comes to mind is how to create and deliver podcast. First, create your audio content. This can be spoken commentary, interviews, presentations and updates. You can use a digital voice recorder with plug-in microphone or the microphone that comes with a computer to record your audio content. Save the audio content in the form of an audio file or MP3 file.
The MP3 file is uploaded or published to a blog from where listeners with subscriptions from that blog can download and listen to the podcast. The MP3 file is referred to as RSS feed. The RSS feed shows up on the blog as a list of descriptions of one or more episodes of the podcast available to the listener. The description contains the date of publication of the feed, title, brief description of the feed or of the series that the feed is part of, author or presenter. The listener enters the feed URL into a software application called podcatcher. The podcatcher downloads podcasts (free or paid) and regularly checks for new additional feeds and downloads the new feeds automatically for the listener. This can be downloaded to either a mobile audio device or personal computer depending on the application that the listener is using.
Listeners can then enjoy listening to their podcast of choice any time and any place they want to. As long as you listen to podcasts in your computer only, you can use the audio player like Windows Media Player, RealPlayer that comes bundled with the operating system of your computer. If you want to subscribe to a podcast feed, you have to install a podcatcher software, the most popular of which is iTunes, available as a free download.
Simply put, podcasting is inexpensive, easy to create and convenient. However, it is important to touch base with customers and prospects using various marketing channels. Podcasts should in no way replace newsletters, direct mail campaigns, teleseminars and the like. Podcasting is a complimentary marketing tool that can be added to the marketing mix to maximize business benefits online. So, start podcasting and leverage this new technology to give your business a marketing edge.

You can learn to play guitar on most any old instrument. This does not have to be the very best instrument out there. As you advance on your instrument you will naturally want to get a better guitar. Although the list of quality guitars is very long you tend to see the pros playing the same popular guitar brands over and over again. You will see Fender and Gibson guitars being played in nearly any style of music. On the acoustic guitar scene Martin guitars and instruments made by Guild are quite popular. This article will look at a few of the more popular brands of guitars you might see your heroes playing.
Almost anyone you can think of at one time or another has played Fender guitars. Leo Fender was way ahead of his time with the modern designs he put into his guitars. Go to any country music show even today and you will more than likely spot a Fender Telecaster guitar being played on stage. Fender guitars come in many different price ranges so most anyone can afford to own a Fender.
A lot of the all time great rockers play the Gibson brand of guitar. Almost everyone has played the Gibson Les Paul from Les Paul himself to Eric Clapton. The tone of the Gibson Les Paul has a large support group in love with the famous Les Paul growl. Many of these guitars are worth quite a lot of money.
Ask most any serious guitarist which guitar is the king of the all of the acoustic guitars and most likely you will get the answer of the Martin guitar. This brand of guitar has been made in the US since 1833. Spend the day at a major bluegrass festival and you will find performer after performer playing Martin guitars. These guitars are sought after because of the fantastic tone they have.
Although Guild guitars may not be as popular as some brands, they are fine quality guitars that are a joy to play. The jumbo models and the 12 string models are highly sought after guitars. Fender bought out the Guild Company in 1995 and continued to manufacture the Guild brand of guitar.
There are many more really good popular guitar brands available. Searching out that perfect instrument is half the fun of playing. Your style of playing will have a lot to do with what type of guitar you choose. Do your homework and pick out the right type of guitar for you. This may or not be the guitar your hero plays.

As my father used to say, “Money and Time are the only real assets in this world.” Buying traffic is clearly the simplest means of driving traffic to your website. But you probably don’t have a lot of money to use for building traffic. I didn’t when I started, either. So, you will just have to invest your other asset - time.
I am giving you some techniques to build traffic that take a lot of time, but they are absolutely free and will result in a good amount of targeted, not generic, traffic. You will shortly be making enough money to buy traffic if your site is correctly optimized to produce profits. Once you have this rolling and can afford to buy traffic, you will have the time to build more websites.
So, here are the 11 techniques that are surefire free traffic getters:
Here is a tip that is so often passed up, I am not even numbering it: submit your website to as many search engines as you can including the big ones such as Google, MSN and Yahoo.
1. This technique is known as Bummarketing and has proven to work. Write a number of articles, say 5 to 10, and use free article directories to submit them. To make this work, you need to do two things: optimize the articles for at least one keyword that your site targets and be certain to include a link to your website in your bio box.
2. Leave relevant comments that include a backlink to your website on blogs you find that are related to your topic. Go to answers at yahoo-dot-com and find questions related to the topic on your site and answer them. Also, locate, join and become active in posting in popular forums that are focused on your site’s topic. Be sure to include your site’s link in your signature.
3. This can have a significant impact. If you are not familiar with press releases, take the time to research how they are written before you attempt it as they are not written in the same was an article is. After you know how, write a press release. Then submit a few variations of it to a few press release sites along the lines of prweb-dot-com.
4. You may know of a product or service you have used and like. Offer to write your unbiased testimonial in exchange for a backlink to your website.
5. This is a good one since blogs are so popular. Start your own blogs on wordpress-dot-com and blogger-dot-com. Be sure to put a link back to your website in them and submit your blogs to the many blog directories that are available for free. Keep your blogs updated regularly and you will pull in an abundance of traffic.
6. There are quite a few free classified ad sites such as craigslist-dot-com where you can post ads with your link. Live links can be posted in the best ones but post in the ones that don’t allow it anyway. Write a good ad and people will be motivated to copy and paste or type your web address in their browsers anyway. Be sure you put your ad in the right category or it can’t help you much.
7. Get traffic every time you send an email by putting your site’s link in your email signature. This is an easy one!
8. Social bookmarking sites such as Myspace are good places for traffic generation. Start a page on as many as you can find and be sure your link is posted there in an easy to find place. Squidoo is another good option. Open some accounts and create relevant lenses to your site the include your link.
9. Youtube is a great place to submit a viral video. You don’t even need to be knowledgeable in video production, just create a simple, relevant slideshow in powerpoint, include some nice background music and it will get the job done nicely.
10. Use Google to search your main keywords. This will help you find related sites in the top results that might allow you to exchange reciprocal links.
11. Write a short report or ebook up to 20 pages or so, or find one that has the rights brand it with your link and give it away. Then locate several free ebook directories and submit it. This can be repeated with several such ebooks or reports.
Though not free, this tip is worth putting a little money into. Make a list of variations or misspellings of your own domain name and/or those of some of your competition. Buy a good one that is available and use it to send traffic to your site through redirection.
Looks like a lot of work, doesn’t it? It is but you don’t have to do all of them, al least not all at once. Choose one or two you feel comfortable doing and do those now. Commit half an hour to an hour every day to free traffic building. Then choose another one or two once the first two are established and before you know it, you will have enough money to buy traffic. Then you will be able to focus your efforts and time to build up your internet business.

The modern day busy parent tries to compensate for his or her lack of time for his or her children by investing a great deal on education. Thus, it is not a surprise how many of such parents move mountains just to provide their kids entertaining products that not only encourage play, but also instill discovery and learning.
Makers of toys worldwide recognize this growing trend and are, consequently, coming up with new and improved lines of children’s educational toys and games almost every month. What was once limited only to specialty toy and game shops, educational toys and games are now a staple in every children’s oriented stores around the world, even at general mass retailers, like Wal-Mart and K-Mart.
Statistics show that the sales of toys and games have declined over the years. However, educational toys have been on the rise, as more parents opt to purchase products that would give them the most value for their money, as compared to, say, buying Bratz dolls and Hot Wheels.
The record for educational toys was broken in the Holiday season of the year 2000, when toy maker LeapFrog’s LeapPad Learning System electronic reading toy became the bestselling children’s game of the time, helping the company boost its sales by a whopping 120 per cent!
LeapFrog’s success paved the way for other major and small toy makers to come up with educational toys of their own. Jakks Pacific, under its Child Guidance brand, released its own line of children’s educational toys and games following a deal with Baby Genius. Hasbro released its Baby Einstein line and unveiled its preschool units, namely the Baby Einstein Company and Playskool. These new toys encouraged children to dabble in art, music, different foreign and local languages, and even poetry.
The strong demand for educational toys and games for children has urged major retailers, like Toys “R” Us, to allocate shelves upon shelves for these kinds of toys. And because more and more households are transforming into two-income families, it is likely that the demand will grow further as parents seek products that would try to fill their absence during their children’s formative learning years.
With the rise in demand, it won’t be a surprise when the price tag that comes with these educational toys and games will also decrease as the years pass. Right now, these kinds of toys are still a little expensive (though it hasn’t stopped most parents from buying them). In the future, due to the overwhelming interest, educational toys and games will be accessible to everyone.
